If memory serves, he was a beat writer (read cheerleader and dissimilar of misinformation) for the coots and a known apologist

They don't pose a serious threat unless we play terrible. We're much more likely to drop a conference game, or lose to LSU.

Well, I think we are going to compete for a National Title. It is still not very bold or far fetched prediction that someone predicts we lose to the coots on the road. Its not like they completely suck. The games have obviously been close 3 years in a row as well. What will the spread be...3 points either way?

Clemson has had coaching and development issues for each of the last few years. Thr Coots got gifts from us and UT last year. I think Dabo has corrected the most egregious coaching deficiency off last year's team (the DC).
An early line I saw a few weeks ago was us -6.5 at their place this year. I expect it'll be bigger by the time the game rolls around because I think we're going to be better, and they're going to be worse then last season.
If it's a -3 point spread at their place then we suck.

It’s not far fetched to see that that program has improved under Beamer Jr. Now they did lose a lot on defense so they may regress but they will still give their best against us in November so we cannot overlook them!!!

They lost way too much on defense to predict that. We will see. They certainly got better as the season progressed last year.
