Literally, I can't watch them today, and last year I only got to watch one game in the NIT.

Do athletes still wear jocks? Isn’t the whole notion of a jock strap exclusionary and rather 20th century?

I can’t bear to watch such an unpredictable team. We are 6.5 favorites over BC and get blow out. Our players like last years NiT appear to not want to be there. I can’t handle the up and down never knowing what you going to get team. This was so frustrating with Tommy Bowden. It’s coaching my friend. Nothing but coaching. You will not see a Dabo Sweeney or Rick Barnes team show up with such inconsistent play.

Up to this point he has squandered this year’s talent. If we can’t make the sweet 16 this season is irredeemable.

Right now, I'm just concerned about getting in and then advancing beyond the first round.

All signs point to us getting in and losing in the first round.
Like I said if we can’t make the sweet 16 this season is irredeemable.

To me, as an intelligent and common sense thinker, I cannot fathom why this coach still has supporters who defend his product at Clemson that he has produced over a 14 year period. This program has been in the same state that it was many years ago when he took over....NO growth, NO progress, NO indication that the program is headed on an upward plane. Stuck at the same level. The people who defend his exploits must be some of the smallest-minded, low self-esteem people in the world. We must ALL strive for excellence in any thing we do, and not be satisfied with just getting by as humans. Brownell is a coach who barely gets by as a HC. Clemson deserves better than that in basketball. And stop the crap that Clemson should be fine with average basketball because of the low expectation there. That's ridiculous. Clemson has the right to believe that they can be the best. Any program has that right no matter how big or small the school is. BIG thinkers produce Great accomplishments. That's why the ELITE programs do what they do. They simply believe they are the best, and expect it. Brownell has had enough time to prove he is a solid, able coach at the National level. He has failed miserably. That Boston College game really sent a message of his lack of ability to lead a consistently strong national stalwart in Power-5 basketball. He simply can't do it. So to those Clemson fans who still drink his tasteless Kool-Aid, here's a note for you: Remember what happened in the BC game. Think about it hard.

The offense is really fun to watch when it's clicking. KenPom has Clemson's offense slightly UNC's. The issue is making shots and turnovers.

Basketball is one of the 3 largest fan watched sports at most schools, let along CU. It is a KEY revenue sport and that carries a lot of weight in the AD. Some schools, it IS the revenue sport and CU could gain that revenue too with little competition in the area/region. If the head coach of the other two sports had BB's record after 2-3 yrs, then hot seat. After 4-5 yrs, then replaced. Recruiting - poor. Season records - mediocre at best - Post season - Poor. What is offered to the basketball coach at CU- Good/Great support fan base (think Miami football fan base for poor support), upgraded facilities, great compensation package. One side has provided the needs - other side (coaching) has not produced...much of anything. So yes, the person, great. The product produced, poor with PLENTY of time to create a program over several times by now. Brad B gets paid more than the coaches a Miami, Wake Forest and Fla State. Those schools have produced a much better product in this sport in the last 10 yrs.
