on basketball than football.
Football: $57,000,000 budget 133 players $428,571.00/player
Basketball: $8,000,000 budget 16 players $500,000.00/player
This is great news! Congratulations to CBB for being able to get this done.

So that’s what it costs to recruit .5* portal players.

He only has the most losses of a coach in Clemson history.
JK knows this, and she still posts her 'wins" BS over and over again.

considering that basketball plays 30 to 35 games per season while football plays somewhere between 12 and 15 games annually. If we look at actual winning percentages, CBB is .577 while Dabo is .805.
No real comparison there, so I won't bore you with all of the playoff appearances, national championship game appearances, conference championships and national championships Dabo's teams have won compared to those won by CBB.

My hope is that Clemson is a winner in all things, especially all sports things that entertain us fans.
I do get perturbed some as to having million dollar coaches and multi million dollar venues that are not football related.

A per game number would be more realistic as per player really means nothing.

Shows what we already know. CBB is an average coach bleeding the program with little to show for it. Enter another 40 million and we will still be what we are because the guy cannot win the games that matter.

You are comparing apples with apples with this post.
The football has a tremendous support staff. Much, much larger than basketball

I would think that the football team has LOT more personnel that the basketball team. That is why they have more money appropriated to them. You know they have more trainers, equipment guys, travel budget, and many others in the staff. Wouldn’t that have an affect on the money per player! Perhaps I’m looking at this incorrectly.
