Bowman

Oct 2, 2020, 1:23 PM

I am sorry to see Bowman go, and I am sorry to hear about his grandfather. I wish him the very best wherever he ends up. I wonder, though.
I believe he was the last scholarship RB to see action against The Citadel. I wonder if his decision to leave was known before the game, or maybe his late entry into the game had something to do with his decision.

It is extremely hard to focus when you lose

someone close to you like your Grandfather. They may have kept him out because of his mental state. No one will know for sure unless you're a coach.

I would like to believe that Dabo and Tony used the seniority
plan in that particular game. Since Bowman is the new man, he
went in last. Sometimes you save the best for last.

It is hard to say for sure

My son was playing college basketball up north. My Dad had Lou Gehrig's disease and was fading fast. My son was very close to him. He ended up transferring closer to home last year so that he could be around and see him. My Dad passed last year around Christmas. My son really misses him and has chosen to stay down here closer to family.

There is a lot of experience in the RB room, and I expect that it's hard for a rookie to overlook that, especially when you're home sick!!!
