But it was a 6-inch sub - last year the footlong meal cost the same amount. Just love where we are headed.

Just think what the impact is on poor people (not that they should use their snap card at fast food places). Our country is in a heap of trouble.

You ain't seen nothing yet. US credit rating downgraded, US banks just downgraded due to being at risk, one trillion in credit card debt being carried by consumers and home mortgage rates approaching 8%.
Grocery prices are through the roof, steak is over $25 a pound, ground beef $7 a pound, chicken $6 and on and on it goes.
Biden is a modern day Judas, he sold us out to our enemies for money. I am still waiting on him to go out and hang himself.

For sure......bought a battery this morning for a Nissan Altima...$230. Three years ago, it was less that half that.

Remember this, food stamps are designed for large families. The larger the family, the larger your welfare check will be and the more food stamps you will receive. Add to that the WIC programs which provides dairy products free to these same people. So much so that milk goes bad because they cannot use as much as they are given. The 2 person elderly couple living off of small Social Security checks receives none of this except around $50 in food stamps. People are having a very hard time living these days and the elderly are catching the brunt of it. We have some very poor leadership everywhere right now. Prices of everything is through the roof.

but they have a deal for today only where you get a free large 1-topping pizza with the purchase of any other large pizza. It'd be just over $14 total for one cheese and one pepperoni, so I'm thinking about it.

Eating home is still very expensive, but I still think that is the way to go. I understand having to get a sandwich, but going out for a steak seems ridiculous at this stage. Anything I can make at home I do. Costs are scary.
