Initially I thought we could’ve done better.
But, looks like he’s finally rising and probably will crack the top-100 before getting to Clemson.
For anyone that has watched him more closely, are there any good comparisons?
Says he’s now the 3rd rated Dual Threat QB overall.

Big stature guys with plus arm strength and great athleticism.
He'll end up in the top 10 QBs in the country. Just like Cade, Dabo has gotten on another stud early before the industry.

Bigger hands than Burrow. 10" vs 9" - some people seem to worry about that but it won't be hurting Hebert's draft stock.
Has a bit of a Josh Allen vibe to me - Allen was also 6'4" 210 coming out of HS. He is also faster than Josh Allen (4.76 40 at NFL Combine). I like his speed, kind of like what we thought Luke Doty would have been if he was a great passer.

I have to disagree. Not in your assessment that Hebert may end up being very good, but in the stock you put in what some recruiting service says about him now as opposed to earlier in their evaluation period. Just because they are late to the party doesn't mean Hebert is now better.

So you’re saying players don’t get better throughout high school careers?
Because yes they do

During their HS career, yes. In the past three weeks, no.

Hebert is the same kid he was before we offered him and got a commitment.
The ESPN folks pretty much admitted that they hadn’t seen him before and when they did, they raised their opinion of him.
Doesn’t mean he improved. Just means people found out how good he already was.

He’s going to a good one who’s going to surprise a lot of people I’ve been through all of his film and there’s nothing he can’t do. People we say he isn’t “mobile” but he has really good wheels but he has no problem waiting in the pocket for a reciever to get open which is what good QBs do. He has plus arm strength but his biggest weapon is his quick release he has one of those motions that can’t really be taught you either have it or you don’t but there’s no extra motion in his throws. The ball pops out of the hand the way you want it to and throws darts on deep balls. I think Dabo and Co found a hidden gem which is rare these days.

We are lucky that he was hidden away in MA. I think he will be a great one.

We are real lucky and I think he’s going to surprise a lot of people especially the ones who do zero research and only go back ratings sites

His pocket presence and footwork are incredible. It's fun to watch him between the snap and the throw (which are usually right on target). Also seems to possess great decision making as evidenced by his lone INT in 185 balls.

Drake Maye at UNC. Maye is a little bigger but Hebert is still growing.
Big , strong , pocket passers that can make plays with their feet but it isn't their strength.
Read the scouting report on both from 247. Very similar with the exception that Maye also played basketball.
