Feaster and Powell

Sep 5, 2016, 11:07 AM

Can someone tell me why these 2 guys are not on the depth chart?? All I heard all off season is how they would be avoiding a RS and helping the kick return game and fight for playing time

2 words....Mike Bellamy.

Enough said? Or would you have wanted something like that Saturday night?

You should see them the next 2 games.

Guess you miss the point of how a hyped 5 star RB fumbles the ball several times, costing big games during supposed to be big years...transfers out to never be heard from again??

Auburn is too big of a game to get his foot wet in for a first game with the depth we have at running back and WR (that includes return game). They will get involved in for their first time in games where a mistake wouldn't be a determining factor of a win or a loss.

BTW, you did notice even Mike Williams had a fumble in this game (even if we want to agree the guy was out of bounds).

Bingo...no need to drop Feaster into that Auburn D-line...

...with fumble written all over it. The next 2 games will give them their shot to gain the trust of the coaches. TV will get his "TV Time". It will be fun to watch.

They wouldn't be over the experienced guys. You don't have to be on the depth chart to play. Depth chart is just who your starters and backups are...they can still throw in Feaster and Powell as they please as long as they aren't listed on the injury reports as out.

Was/Is Dexter Lawrence on the depth chart for the offense? Because he did play there at the goal line. ;)

They did not play because we do not need them to play.....

Unlike freshman starting or playing for other teams, like the QB at Texas. If they were our best players at their position, they would be in the line--up. I suspect they will be worked in against teams that we have comfortable leads against.
