Let's the Big 12 and SEC don't send us invites, what would everyone think if we went to the Big 10. It seems like a solid fit that would keep the administration happy with good academic schools as well.

Big 10 is my second choice behind SEC. I'm just not that keen on Big 12 myself.

I think the main reason everyone wants to go to the Big 12, is to leave Swofford and Tobacco Road influence in the ACC. We need to avoid the 'out of the frying pan, into the fire' option.

The SEC will NEVER take a pay cut for Clemson.

If the roles were reversed, neither would we. And no one on this board would personally take a cut in pay so that his employer could bring in a new employee to the company. NO ONE!!! We need to think these things through and determine which realistic option is the best for Clemson. Unfortunately, the SEC is not an option.

Too far geographically and most of the schools are gigantic in numbers of students. Love to be in the BIG 10 but we simply do not fit. SEC, yes; Big 12, maybe,

Time to replace Swofford. He is a buffoon and continues to prove it every new TV contract. Too many concussions while at UNC? Let him go on the road and sing "Oliver" tunes as a stand in for his deceased brother.

Well, we are not an AAU university, so the B1G would probably not be interested in us for that reason alone.

It is a selective group of the top research universities in the US. The B1G is not likely to extend membership to those not in that organization.
