Kudos to Dabo on this one. Recruiting is getting absurd.

Second time I've ever +1 a coot in my 9 year history of my being a member of Tiger net, and classless09 received both of those. It doesn't mean that I like him, BC and I would rather that he didn't ever come back to T-Net. But twice in 9 years I have gave him a +1, and that means only that twice in 9 year when he opened his mouth, it didn't cause my A$S to want to suck a lemon.

There's nothing wrong with Satellite Camps. Harbaugh just goes overboard and is intentionally trying to troll southern schools. He's an abrasive troll that burns bridges everywhere he goes. He'll reap what he sows at Meeeeeeshagin too.
Clemson already does an exceptional job of identifying the top talent and getting them to visit Clemson. It wouldn't be worth CLEMSON's time.
The camps are a good way for schools like Ga Southern, WKU, & Middle Tennessee St to identify guys that can be developed, but it's not like they're stealing big-time recruits at these camps.
Go Tigers!

there are certain schools that HAVE to get away from campus

to have any chance - without mentioning names, you can assume the ones spending so much effort on the camps are the one's I refer to.
I mean, dumpster fires and tainted water is a little bit of a drawback.

These schools will still have to host those prospects

on their campus eventually. I don't see prospects committing to a school without visiting at all. Michigan for one has an awesome campus.

Kudos. I hadn't seen your post when I made mine. You must have been there when it was terrible weather, too (which is about half the time).

Satellite camps are are not in the best interest of the Student Athletes. As said in another post, sooner or later that Coach hosting the camp has to get the Athletes on Campus. Dabo is doing it the RIGHT way. The Athletes come to Clemson for camp, and.get to see and check out the Campus and what Clemson life has to offer. It's just the right way to do it. GO TIGERS!!!

It is that, but is is more than just that. Clemson now is a mind set to a method of achievement (on the field, in the classroom and off the field in how one of ours represents himself). Granted there are the very few exceptions, but they are the rare exceptions.

Time will tell... If it exposes eager players to eager coaches, it could work very well. Then, Clemson might be forced to change its ways.

Not every school has the perfect combination of tradition, beauty, class and fun. Some have to rely on the ole bait n switch
