Best national championship ever?

So Espn just released an article listing the top 10 best national championship games ever played. http://es.pn/2Felwen
They have last years win over bama as the 4th best (and the 2015 game right below it at 5).
My question is, does that ranking change if renfrow catches the ball as the last second ticks off the clock, therefore making it a walk-off victory. I feel like that’s part of why our win last year isn’t ranked higher or even #1, because the nation had to sit through 10 more minutes of penalties and officials reviewing the onside kick...
In my opinion it was the best performance in the history of college football given the circumstances: Big bad Bama, they just scored, 2 minutes to go, deserved heisman finalist with one more thing to prove, huge catches, and a perfect toss and catch to seal the win.
It’s the scenario every kid dreams of in the backyard. How can it not be #1?

I agree with the author and put the USC v Texas at #1. I'd follow with OSU v Miami at #2.
After that there are several but last year is as deserving as any other at #3.

I don't think anything will ever surpass the 2006 rosebowl. Vince Young took it to them in USC's back yard.

Wasn't it a 4th and goal play though? That was literally their last hope I believe.
That being said, it's so close but ours is certainly at the top of the group.

It would have to of been 4th down, with 0:00 left on the clock, and we needed a TD to win (not a FG to tie), and the game would had to of been at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Nothing will top the 2006 rose bowl because: 1) It was against a team that had dominated college football for the previous 2-3 seasons 2) It was in the dominant teams back yard 3) USC was being considered the greatest dynasty of all time at that point 4) Vince Young's performance was outstanding.

Bluebloods of College Football, which inflates that game somewhat. If we continue out current pace, and maintain this for a decade or more, our name, and our games with Bama will be similarly elevated.

I agree USC vs Texas is #1. What is a head scratcher though is how FSU-Auburn didn't make the list. Largest comeback in BCS history and knocked off the mighty unbeatable SEC.

Nobody wants to bring up the embarrassment that was Shameless Jameis, off the field. Otherwise, it would be there.
