just get an "also-ran" trophy, or medal, don't know which. Winning the ACC Basketball Tournament would be a FIRST for Clemson, something LONG overdue. It would be a sign of REAL progress, and give some hope for future seasons. It would certainly open some eyes, and possibly gain us some blue chip recruits.

I would argue just making the Final Four would open more eyes from a recruiting standpoint than winning the ACC Championship. Don't get me wrong, winning the ACC Championship would be huge for Clemson and I something we should strive for every year...
But at the end of the day, at least for the average college basketball fan, March Madness is what it is all about. Being one of the final four teams standing would massive for Clemson.

Since we've never sniffed either one, a Final Four would be, by far, the best thing we could hope for.
An ACCT title means a lot less to recruits, I think, than a Final Four.

Great question. As a current student, Final Four. As a lifelong Clemson hoops fan, ACC Championship. I was too young to experience campus when we won football national championships so seeing this place come unglued if we made the Final Four would be really special. You would not get that reaction if we won the ACC because the final game is March 16th, AKA the Saturday before Spring Break. I'd love to see the streets downtown filled to the brim if the clock hit triple zeroes in an Elite Eight game with the Tigers winning.

If We win anything with Brad consider it a bonus, ACC Championship and a final four would be very possible with the talent we have.
