Unfortunately if those clucking idiots win 10-11 games they will beat there chest and get a bid to the new 12 team playoff just cause SEShee just means more. Teams like Clemson and FSU will have to be perfect and even then they may not get in cause big 10 and Seshee money. The precedent has been set.

Beamer has won too many recruiting battles against us. It will be a good thing if he is gone. Ray Tanner got several rejections before he hired Beamer. Hope any good prospects for a replacement for Beamer would believe the chicken curse is for real and turn Tanner down.

I hope he stays, because it helps us with recruiting. Sure he talks a good game, but that can't overcome his record to the more intelligent recruits.
Yes, he'll snag a few of the ones we want from time to time, such as the in-state OL kids, but overall he can't complete.

I am likely to be the odd man out here and maybe because I tend to be a bigger-picture guy, but I love it even more when the Gamecocks are good and we beat them anyway. Nothing in college football would make me happier than to have SC with a chance to get to the SEC title game if they beat us and then us thumping them. I also want them to be good because we will always have them in our schedule and our team resume' is a critical part of the game. With the Gamecocks being no better than Wofford it does not help us out very much.
