Did he or has he made some big $?

Always thought this way of making a living was surreal when it all started, but why not.

Amazing how the brain can’t conceive of an idea for a zillion years, like being paid to FISH, and bam it happens & thrives!

LOL

Bill, the money is not as much as the other sports, but these guys get a lot from their ""sponsors"" and get to do what they love for a living ( fishing ) -- when not fishing they are promoting their sponsors products all over the country -- Brandon use to fish some tournaments with us old guys, when he was a teen and most days, put a whoopin' on us **** added a link for ya' to see what he has been doing for the last few years.

If I wanted to catch some lunkers

Mar 27, 2022, 11:53 AM

I'd have to pay someone else to help me do it.

It is a tough way to make a living though. Days like

Mar 27, 2022, 6:27 PM [ in reply to Re: Did he or has he made some big $? ]

yesterday and they are on the water trying to figure out how to catch 12 lbs....and they do it 250 plus days a year. I don't see how a guy over 45 or 50 does it...

He has won $520,808 during his nine year pro career. Which is an average of $57,868 per year. Not bad with the sponsorship dollars on top. I had a young Central Florida University graduate, who fished the tour, as a guide on Lake Okeechobee and the boat company provided his boat free. I think that is pretty common.Back in earlier the Ranger boat company provided all the boats for the bass Masters Tournament. I bought the picture boat from the 1985 BMC Tournament which was just parked for picture taking and advertisement purposes. It had never been in the water, but I got it from a dealer in Rutherford, NC, who at that time the largest Ranger dealer in the nation, for a huge discount. I think he ultimately lost the Ranger deal because he was discounting every sale and getting business from all over the east coast. The day I picked op my boat there was a guy from Pennsylvania picking up a boat.

I believe Hugh Greene may have been that dealer you are talking of. Talking of Brandon he used to fish a lot of tournaments we were promoting back in 07 - 2010. We also had Brian Latimer and his dad fishing our tournaments. Along with some of the best around here.
