He destroyed his life imo. Maybe he can be a HS coach or something one day. His days of ever having enough money to wing it are done. I don't this ends well after he gets out or even before. He is toast.

I am a die hard Vikings fan and he continuously acted like a petulant child out on the field in games and in practice during his short time there and it was enough get him released mid season. I really did not expect that from him coming from Clemson....but I guess that is just who he is, as shown in this sad story. Hope he gets it together, but he needs to grow up in a BIG BIG WAY!!!

I cannot fathom why a 7 year NFL veteran who made tens of millions of dollars would ever be in a stolen vehicle. Sad and disappointing to hear about this.

He made just under 12 million in his career. He has and agent and taxes. You can blow that easily if you're flashy or helping people out. A couple of stupid investments and he is toast.

Bashaud had the best resources when he was at Clemson - really good people cared for him and spent time trying to help him see necessary change was needed. Very sad.
