Baseball transfers homered in weekend scrimmages

According to Clemson Baseball's social media accounts, transfers Ty Dalley, Nate Savoie, and Tyler Lichtenberger all homered in this weekend's scrimmages and freshman Jason Fultz homered twice. So we have either added some pop to the lineup for 2026 or the pitching is going to be rough again this coming season... or maybe a bit of both.

Who needs pitching when you can score 12 runs a game

Pitching will be no better . We added nothing to the pitching staff to expect anything different . Good enough to pile up wins against weaker teams but not elite and able to win against better teams.

Team 129 is loaded compared to last years team. The team has depth on offense, defense and pitching. The power and overall hitting talent has improved. The team is a lot bigger, faster and stronger. Yes there is a lot of youth but that is a lot better than having all these one and done guys that are on a farewell tour that never got drafted. Rumor is team 129 is naturally closer because there is not a huge age gap between players. Team 129 is HUNGRY. They may not get it done this year but Coach Bakich is loaded to make a run in the next few years. Go Tigers

talk is cheap, the pitching depth is no different than last year. We struck out trying to add portal help with pitching. last year speaks for itself, feasted on weaker part of schedule early and was giving up 40-50 runs per weekend series later in year. Facts are facts , and the truth hurts. Look at how weak our pitching was in home regional against average West Virginia and Kentucky teams. Not one single power arm was added to roster, not 1!!!!

Same as fall practice in football...doesn't mean anything until the season starts against opponents..
