He's a 6'2" Wide out. Did you really think that we needed a 6'2" wide receiver before the season? I have no problem with the idea to use the portal, but it needs to be at a point of need when we pick them up.

I don't care what transfer went anywhere if we didn't need somebody at that position. You can argue a prototypical slot receiver. You can argue OL. You could even argue that we could have used some depth at CB, although finding someone that wants to wait to start out of the portal is a tough sell. Any other position, you are going on hindsight.

I know bama wasn't "in need" of WRs and you see how he fit in.

If they're willing to come and you've vetted them just as you do when they're in HS, then you give them a look..........it's the way it is now OR you get left behind.
