I picked Clemson to win. I was surprised that you guys could not move the ball better against LSU. Defense is good and will only get better. Also, I think the Clemson offense will improve.
Lack of a running game is a concern. I’m not sure about the younger RBs on your roster or if LSU is just that good. But, Clemson has GOT to develop at least an OK rushing attack or it will be a tough season. No wiggle room here - rushing game has to improve.
I like Dabo and I have faith in him. He is a proven winner and has won at the highest level. More than once. I think Clemson is a good team with the potential to be a very good team. This season. Let it play out one week at a time. Too much is always gleaned from opening week. Dabo is very good and Clemson is a very talented team. I think you guys will improve and the offense will gel as the season progresses. Let the season play out.
I honestly believe this - If I had to say who has a better chance of making the playoffs between Clemson and LSU, I would pick Clemson.

Just another way of saying Georgia is much better than LSU and monumentally better than Clemson.

I’m just hoping we can beat Troy. Teams who can’t score more than 10 points don’t make the playoffs. And shouldn’t.

I agree, let the season play out. This wasn’t Wofford or SC State this past Saturday. Tiger staff got a lot of good info to work with. I believe Dabo will have EVERYBODY pointed in the right direction this week. Go Tigers!

LSU plays 6 ranked teams including 3 on the road. Who knows how many losses will get you in the Playoffs but my guess is we have to win out and be a 12-1 ACC champ to be in. Because there are so many good (on paper) teams in the BIG10 and the SEC, a 2 loss team will get in the Playoffs for sure and maybe a 3 loss team. LSU play Ole Miss on the road and that is the game they need to win.

Clemson won’t make the playoffs after that performance. Opposing teams will watch the LSU film game and duplicate much of what they see. Cade will be pressured more than ever before and the season is in turmoil unless the Clemson coaches create some alternate plans. When the punter gets ready to put , they give him 3 large players to defend making sure that the punter is protected. GIVE CADE AT LEAST ONE BLOCKER WHOSE JOB IS TO PROTECT THE QUARTEBACK. HE SHOULD BE A BADASS DEFENSIVE LINEMAN WHO CURRENTLY SITS ON THE BENCH WAITING HIS TURN. HE HAS ONLY ONE JOB!!!

Clemson will have to improve on pass protection,but most teams are not as talented as LSU is in the secondary to be able to rush 6 and man cover our receivers. Other teams might try to duplicate that and we will torch them. We need to be able to have more creative plays when we are even or outmatched at skill positions that’s what the Elliot and Scott coached teams did with the big boy teams back during the good run.

I don’t think Clemson fans are worried about making a playoff. It’s more that we are not good enough to win the title. All this experience and talent and they looked like Clemson vs UGA with Ugaleleiah. Same type of game.

Well that’s good to hear coming from you. A bunch of my in-laws are from the same litter and they, like most GA fans I’ve met, know more about college football than any coach or AD ever did. Just ask them. Or don’t. They will tell you anyway.
