Back home from ER after 3.5 hr barrage of tests for Dizzy Spell..

and appears it was due to..........
No, not Rum Runners or extra GF's...
but to blood pressure pills working too good & causing BP to drop to 102 from better 120 levels!
So grateful & relieved and feel I'm on the high road to equal & beat Joe21's sissy little 98 number. Ha..
Thx much for your thoughts, prayers & well-wishes.

Buy yourself one of those BP devices to keep at home whenever you are on BP meds, get too low/high a number call your doctor and use the nurse line option (Dr line option takes longer to get back to you due to more messages). Also a pointer, check with your pharmacy and see if they have switched the manufacturer of your (I assume generic) BP medication. Sometimes switching to a different manufacture can cause changes in your body.

I have the same problem from time to time. I also have one of those blood
pressure machines. My cardiologist said to take a little salt water next time it happens. I did and the results were completely amazing how fast my blood pressure returned to normal.
I found if I smoke a cigar too quickly or drink some high alcohol content bourbon can trigger the event, but not always.

term problem. My dad scared the heyall out of us years ago with the same thing. He had taken it upon himself to restart his BP medicine on his own after the docs had weaned him off it. The dosage drove his BP so low that he passed out, and every pore in his body opened up. Looked like he had a water hose turned on him. My twenty something self had never shown my mom my fast driving skills before that day, although from speeding tickets she knew I had them! Luckily, as in your case, it turned out to be easily fixable.

isn't american health care fun? 2,000 dollars to figure out my palpitations going up stairs wasn't a heart attack. Took them an echocardiogram to get there. 50 years ago it would have been a stethoscope and an admonition to "walk up fewer stairs."
