SC fans are delusional?

I have seen some crazy posts on here about SC and Clemson football. I have seen some posts saying South Carolina will go 7-5 next year and Clemson will breeze to a perfect record. There is a difference between optimism and just plain delusional. If you wanna talk realistic football, I will talk:
SC will lose all of our LBs but that was not much. The only true loss will be Holloman, how many big plays did Bowens or Wilson make? Leadership will be the biggest loss but physically I believe we will improve. Clemson lost their best RB, WR, TE, and O-linemen on offense. PLus they lost their best DB and DE. Clemson should breeze through their ACC schedule and I see at worst a 10-2 record for them (no competition) while SC will probably at worst be 10-2 as well.
Please do not talk about how "delusional" SC fans are, you'll just be spitting into the wind. Like I said, if you wanna talk real football, I'm here.

Second, your schedule is no tougher than ours. Outside of UGA and Florida you should be favored in all your games including ours.

Many people have said that and we are a good team so being favored in games doesnt mean that we have a soft schedule. We have UNC, Vandy, UF, UGA, and y'all plus a trap game at UCF. It's an above average schedule

We both play UGA, we play FSU, you play Florida.
The rest are games we will both be heavily favored in.
Schedules are pretty even.

FSU isn't equal to Florida, and just because we'll both be favored doesn't mean the schedules are equal.
The quality of our opponents is better than yalls. I would compare, but I can't find yalls schedule anywhere.

I saw it and was impressed. It did nothing to change my feelings on our game next year. Clemson could win. However, especially with it being at home, I think we should win again. The bowl game has nothing to do with it.

SC State has been a coot win way more times than Clemson has ever played them. But the coots since spurrier has been a typical spurrier run up the score on the severe handicapped games. It makes me (spurrier)look to be the big bad wolf that usuc fans think I am.  ROFLMAO @ at the over rated sec fan base. There are only three real big bad Wolves in the sec. Bama, LSU, and Fla. says to the rest of the sec, STOP living through their success!!! It brings to much attention to the over signing method they use. Not to mention the effects it has on the trusting kids and their parents from throwing about ten student athletes under the bus in order to get bach to the 85 scholarship rule of the NCAA.

Very true, DJ Swearinger will be missed dearly. Taylor is a big loss but we have good depth at the DE position, also Ace will be missed dearly as well but hopefully Shaq Roland steps up. TJ Johnson will be missed and as a whole our o-line was below average in my opinion

I can defintely see that, I am more worried about UGA than Florida. SC has really made a true home-field advantage over the last few years plus we did not play well on the road (except the Clemson game and 2nd half of UK)

Swearinger might hurt, devin will not be missed that much if Chaz sutton is as good as I think he will be, receiver I honestly think we will be just fine at, little to no drop off, possibly improvement if the younger guys step up like expected. There's a reason USC didn't go after an wide receivers this year after Williams.

I can see that, Clemson made some good progress under Venables towards the end of last season and for that to be a Top25 D, Steward and Anthony and the DBs need to step up. I believe Clemson's D is not that bad, I think the lack of good competition kills Clemson. The last time Clemson faced good speed (before the Carolina game)at the skill position was FSU. That was what, an eight week difference? That is a big change when you play Duke, WF, and Maryland then all of a sudden play SC.

TE's are huge targets for yall. Taylor was impact due to wingspan and quickness, sutton is more of an ingram imo.

Great point, I forgot to mention about our TEs. They are big weapons for us, plus Cunningham will be a BIG loss. Sutton does seem like Ingram, he made big plays occasionally last year as a junior and might break out his senior year

English will have just as much of wingspan as Taylor, and I foresee him playing a lot next year, sutton is actually faster than Taylor. Just two inches shorter and about 250. I just hope English has put on some weight, 6'6 or 6'7 220 is tiny, but it's how Taylor started.
As far as tightends o I'm ecstatic to see what Owens and Adams can do with buster.

I'm far from either, if I had to say who was the best as far as talent, I would say cann. But as far as overall potential shell has the potential to be great. I mean with tj, it was a lot of things, he was dependable and never missed a game in his playing career. He just had a far lower ceiling for talent than what I think we have in Waldrop now. Waldrop could be a huge deal.

Bryant, I don't doubt what you said at all in the other post above. I'm not hating on anything about Dalton, I watched the kid play in Pelion. I was just simply stating that we aren't losing our most talented oline we have, take into consideration what you just said.... Our best oline might have been on the sidelines last season as well as your best center.

No Dalt was like 270 his freshman and sophomore year. When he graduated he was like two Chickfila biscuits under 290. He got bigger, he just didn't have much fat on him so he looks lean. I saw him on campus in regular street clothes and he looks like a linebacker, honestly.

That was very evident against wofford, they Dline for them looked like chihuahuas against us but they were so fast it showed how slow our line was. Aside from cann, I still stand by he was our best.

Yeah, I was disappointed this year, the run blocking this year was pretty awful. Last year we avereaged 192 rypg while this year we averaged 138...

I could see the possibility of losing to UGA, UF, and Clemson but Arkansas? I know we are on the road but they are in rebuilding mode plus the reason why they beat Carolina until last year was because their offensive scheme was a total mismatch for SC. Now it is a run-heavy offense, which Carolina can defend

Tennessee and Arkansas won't be bad forever, and someday Mark Richt will figure out how to beat Spurrier. But 10-2 or even 11-1 is doable with that schedule.
Clemson team needs to find some better motivation for playing SCU. The SCU players play that game like it's the national championship and their simple-minded fans even think it is the national championship.

Yes they had many tackles but how many were after 5 yards gained plus they were not the best cover guys. They are losses and will be missed but it is not as bad as people believe
