My money is on A&M. I just have no confidence in Auburn. Personally I think Gus is not the man for Auburn. I've said this for years now.
What do y'all think?

Auburn is the underdog but they've handled Texas A&M the past two years.
I don't see a strong enough reason for this to change.
Overall defense is not as good as Clemson, but their line can play with anybody.
Auburn wins a low-scoring game.

The one game I watched of theirs Jimbo coached not to get blown out.
Gus is a joke, but Jimbo... he’s just another coach. He ain’t no football mastermind. Which baffoon baffoons the least will probably win.

I’m thinking TAMU. Auburn is primarily run and their passing has looked bad. Jimbo will try to take away the run and force that freshman QB to beat them through the air. Auburn has played Oregon at Dallas and Tulane & Kent St at home. Auburn’s freshman QB has seen nothing even remotely resembling College Station.

Defense - PUSH (although TAMU is slightly higher rated, even after playing Clemson)

At this point we don't need that " SOS " stuff like others do . That's for the Georgia's and the Washington's and the Wisconsin's of the CFB world .
Clemson is playing with house money with 1 or fewer losses . I bet we could lose to UNCC and still get in the final four provided we lose no other game .
We have cred built like Alabama does . That's it , just us two .

I hope Auburn does. I think aTm will.
Jimbo is a jerk for whom I have zero admiration. But, he can coach. Malzahn seems to be a great coach one week and a buffoon the next. I don't trust him in any big game against another coach with equal talent.

Auburn.
They're just not that good and are once-again waaaaaaay overrated. Their "big win" over Oregon, just like Washington last season will turn out to be a dud by season's end.
Plus, I have zero faith in Gus Malzahn.

It seems a coin flip, tbh.
aTm usually plays better at home, which is prolly why I'll go with them. But Auburn has a stout DLine, and I think they're QB showed some potential. When a QB goes all game stinking it up like a freshman, then comes through big to win a game late, it could indicate he has 'it'.
On second thought, I'll just flip a coin.

No doubt A&M should win. Auburn's D-line is legit but they won't get the same pressure on Kellen Mond we did and he should do quite well. They should have lost to Oregon but Mario Cristobal decided to keep the door wide open for UO to lose.
IMO, Auburn is the most overrated team in America (battling UF for the top spot). They are being given way too much credit for their opening win.

A&M - honestly Oregon outplayed Aw-bum all except like :12 of the game. Had Herbert not got fumble-itas at the goal line the outcome would have been different. You don't get more "gimme wins than that"!
I hope Mond goes off. I like Aw-bums QB; but Malzahn much like Chip Kelly - "use to be ahead of the curb as offensive innovators". Not so much now.
Is A&M conditioned enough yet though. They were in awful shape versus the Tigers and we aren't trying to run 100 plays a game.

I hope A&M does as they’re our biggest bullet point on the schedule, especially considering they still play bama, UGA, and LSU. Those are 3 more losses on that schedule. A 7-5 team will not look good on our resume no matter how you slice it.
