Just past Fla turnpike there is construction all the way to Tampa.

From Greenville/Spartanburg area, it's about the same distance going down I-26 to I-95, then cutting over on US-301 in Jacksonville as it is going through Atlanta.

From points further west (Clemson/Anderson), taking GA 106/US 129 through Athens cuts off Atlanta. Shorter distance, not as good roads, but no Atlanta traffic.

I live in Greenville and would much rather avoid 26 to 95 south, especially from Columbia to the SC/GA line where it's only 2 lanes

Most of the 75 construction is north of 675

so if you are going to go through Atlanta, take 285 to 675 to 75.

All is smooth sailing once you get past McDonough just outside of Atl. Cops are bad on the Forsyth and Byron strips of 75 South. Good luck!
