UNC let power guys take over search. AD - who is pretty good - locked out. AD also did not have resources available for search but those mysteriously appeared once power guys got involved. UNC will probably regret the hire if they don’t already. AD should have left.

This was a great hire by them even if they do what they usually do and not do anything. Holtz paved the way for Spurrier at USuC even though Holtz didn’t do anything either. I think he’s just a setup hire to show the next guy they’re serious about improving their football program. If you’re UNC you gotta make that splash hire and see what happens.

UNC will not
This will settle down either with a big out of court settlement between the 74 and 25 year old or with BB going pro next year.
It’s gonna be real interesting in between. I don’t look forward to playing up there. Just like I didn’t in 2018.

Desperate move by a school that hasn't won an ACC title in 45 years (1980). Let that sink in.
Kind of like the coots hiring Holtz and Spurrier. Only Conference championship they ever won is the ACC in 1969. Holtz and Spurrier didn't end well just like BellyCheck won't.
