Bama doesn't belong, but they did show up against good teams. We'd still have a ballgame right now.

Maybe the SEC and the BIG should have playoff qualifier games for their member schools who don’t qualify for the conference championship. Alabama could’ve played Mississippi at Legion Field in Birmingham. Indiana could’ve played Penn State.
