Heck DK could play both, got some scholarships originally for safety. Went to high school with him and he played safety his freshman and sophomore year before turning into the heart and soul of the offense, junior and senior year. When you hear a guy is a superstar athlete... Derion Kendrick is that guy

We aren’t that thin at DB, because if we were the coaches wouldn’t be moving Simmons to LB. We will have 9 scholarship WR’s in 2018, this isn’t an unusual number.

someones gotta bite the bullet and seek out playing time at db after spring game... love powell but he seems likeliest choice
also think overton to safety is better for team.

If season were to start today, Powell would line up as the starter in replacement of Deon Cain. Of course he has to fight off Tee and incoming phenom Justyn Ross, but Powell seems to be the guy rolling out with the 1’s this spring. McMichael and Goodrich will be a HUGE help once they arrive in August. If I’ve learned anything since BV has been here, it’s that he can coach the heck out of a defense. Trust the guys making the big bucks.

We are thin in the spring right now in terms of depth. Once we add McMichael and Goodrich this summer we’ll be a lot better off in terms of just having bodies
