comments about Dabo, lack of support for the program and support for the players is eventually going to have a negative impact on recruiting. Unless this fan base unites behind the current staff and show more positive support for Clemson Dabo may lose top talent.
The fans never want to accept their part in causing the decline in a sport. In this case it’s Clemson Football !!!

I never said that !! I said the lack of support from the fans is having a negative impact on Clemson Football.
These recruits read out websites and can gage the current attitude of the fans. That attitude could and I believe will affect recruiting. And not the way fans would like.
I never said fans are responsible for wins and losses but fans will impact the future of this program and how successful it will be in the future.
Recruits will remember the support or lack of support for several seasons. If Dabo leaves it may take the new HC a few years to overcome the response of many fans.
Some of you who do not pay for your Tigernet membership may be trolls trying to hurt Clemson’s future success. Some of you are fans that turn on a coach and the team at the first signs of adversity. !!!
I believe Dabo could fix the program with a united fan base.
Recruits pay attention to all of this. They look to see how the fans React during times of adversity. And so far we are giving future recruits a good does of negative fan support !!!

Dabo can't fix what he set up... you are only a good as your last game, especially at $1M a game...
Dabo can't/ won't fix it... modern college football has passed him by.

I think recruits look at the middling teams that we have lost to, by significant scores this year.
And if not for Troy, we would not have won a home game. And we trailed in that game 16-7 at halftime.
Recruits saw, a few years ago, that DJU was still in at QB, vs USuC, while completing 8 passes out of 29 attempts. Did we not have a backup QB? Why not? Meanwhile, in that game, our running backs were making good yards but were seldom used in the whole second half. Did Dabo call those plays? Did he insist on DJU staying in the 4th quarter? That was ridiculous!
They also see that, in the 2024 season, that Sammy Brown did not get to start a game start until the season was near half over, when it became obvious that he was one of our better defenders.
When Cade K was having terrible game vs LSU, and then again vs Troy, was there no one else?
The recruits see poor game mgmt, stubborn and silly coaching decisions and a lack of player improvements.
Recruits can see this for themselves.
People, on this board, are stating the obvious.

You took my thoughts! We buy the merchandise and pay these stupid high ticket prices. A 3-4 record and not beating a P4 opponent in the Valley for almost a calendar should be a concern in regards to recruiting. A passionate fan base is actually a positive. Honestly, players that are excited to come play for Dabo are concerning to me? Tells me that they are not mean or nasty enough anyway. Dabo has filled a roster full of high character choir boys. High character choir boys=3-4 record in tbe ACC. You tell me. The data does not lie!!!

Or maybe it’s the performance on the field and complete disarray that any high school football player can see on full display on any given Saturday when this Clemson team plays that’s going to impact recruiting.
I think that’s the much bigger problem with the coming recruiting losses.

I think that being 3-4 and losing five straight games against Power Four teams at home while our coach sounds more like a used youth pastor probably has a greater affect on recruiting

That doesn’t seem to affect Miami. They just decided to go out and get the best players and pay them. The game has changed. Difference makers get paid. If you rely on traditional recruiting, your roster will be filled with JAGs.

My personal opinion is that NOBODY with any common sense (Parents, etc...) takes anything a bunch of anonymous posts by "fans" or otherwise (bots, fake-fans, etc...) into serious consideration regarding anything Clemson.
This may be a harsh reality for some folks on TNET.
The only people that matter these days are Dabo, the BOT, and the BIG money donors. Social medial posts on TNET, or otherwise are a NON-FACTOR.
Post whatever you want, just understand you have no influence with an anonymous TNET handle.

FSU, Penn State, Auburn, LSU fans all enraged this week with tons of negativity. Tennessee fans pissed at Heupel too. Even Georgia fans arent happy with the defense.

Recruits pay attention to $$$ and winning. If negativity and displeasure actually drove talent away, how do schools like Bama Ga OSU etc etc ever reel in top classes? Those fans wouldn’t put up with the stuff Dabo is allowed here at Clemson.
This post was a failed argument from decades ago. I have to wonder if you even know what year it is sir?

We aren’t attracting top talent anymore . Declining recruiting , less portal use than any other team in nation except the service academies, poor coaching . You can’t continue to defend a failed coach that was too stubborn to change and drive us right into the ground . Can’t beat a P4 team at home at all anymore man .

Just because we were mediocre for decades doesn’t mean we should accept it now.
Dabo had a #### ton of goodwill and capital built up after 2 Nattys and he squandered it all by willingly and gleefully not utilizing the tools at his disposal that every other program was using.
Clemson could and should be a Top 10 program but apathy and complacency destroyed that. Now we all have to watch as we continue to circle the drain because we didn’t keep up the past 5 years.
Just because you got used to losing doesn’t mean it should be accepted.

Gee, I think the change was good, huh? Not advocating for Dabo’s removal but Neff better force his hand on sweeping changes of the coaches. The only way to force it is with the voicing of displeasure by the fans both on message boards and by not showing up at games which have both started.

This is the Clemson Football fan message board. This is the place that we are allowed to complement and complain. The athletes that sign with Clemson will be given every thing that they need to be successful. We, the people that are paying the bills for the athletes, feel that the football staff is currently not holding up their end of the deal so we are calling them out. I am going to borrow words for the UF statement on the firing of their head coach. “This is a results driven business.”. This is nothing personal. The coaches and now the players are being paid to get results. If you are going to touch the rock and play on his field, Frank Howard expects the staff and players to give 110%. That is currently not happening.
