Yes the team isn't playing with the effort or intensity they used to play with. Saw it starting to drop after DW4 left. I think Dabo needs to hit a hard reset. Hire a new OC and let him decide on entire offensive staff, hopefully he would keep Luke but that is all. Let Allen decide on who if anyone on the defensive staff he wants to keep and hire all his own people. Let our GM handle all NIL agreements, head coach should not be involved with money. Need a home run hire for strength and conditioning.

Our defense was terrible in the first half and gave up a drive in 2nd but held them a fg.. then you had the turnover inside your own 20 Cuse scored off of.... Other than that in the 2nd half .. we got punt after punt after punt... Offense just never could do much with it.

Syracuse lost their starting QB

That was the same defense that couldn't stop Tech on third down, when even Stevie Wonder could see it was going to be a QB keeper. Yes, give Allen some time since he obviously doesn't have the defense talent everyone thought he would. But they didn't stop Syracuse, an injury did. They were driving when he got hurt, and probably would've have scored then.

We built a brand and became complacent. All we have to do is show up to win. That became the mindset. Nobody’s scared anymore.

Was taking with my Clemson buddy and we noted that Dabo had the nine coaches allowed when he started. Now he has 40+ assistants, assistants to the assistants, analysts, analysts to the analysts. I know winning teams have the same so they don't have a problem. Are we concentrating on "player" development versus a "team" mentality? Does the right guard know what the rt tackle and center are doing/going to do? I do know they practice as a "team," but when thing are going the way they are, maybe there are too many voices in too many different ears. Just throwing that out there.
Ps: We also noted that in past years, the offense was practicing against an "elite" defense an the defense was practicing against an "elite" offense...the old "Iron sharpens iron." Don't think we have enough "Iron" to "Sharpen."

Not sure but have a feeling NIL has had some negative influence in the Clemson locker room, Hope not, but sense that.

I sensed it when DJU was given a ton of cash back in'21. He certainly never earned it. And right now, neither are these guys.
