There's a whole crapload of people, including my self, that would go out right now and "donate to NIL" if Clemson actually proved they would use it properly and use the portal to fill gaps with talented players.

to talk down the use of the portal. So far he's offered Hunter Johnson, some offensive lineman and Bear Bryant the 22nd. Who in their right mind would give away their money when they know Dabo isn't even going to go after elite talent with it. And who wants to pay the current offensive players to stay.
If any one on our current offense is extorting the program they should be laughed out of the building.

There's plenty of good things to say about football program. Our defense, graduation rate. Gameday experience. The students, the alumni. The campus. The facilities. All top notch. But that all changes if we continue to balk at playing modern day football.

Something that is VERY important to understand. NIL at Clemson is even more important for current athletes. It’s not just about attracting players from the portal. It’s even more important for keeping our best players from listening to other schools that come around tampering. I understand the tampering this time has been offering up to $300k to players of interest.
