Does a weather delay affect our game?

Looking like thunderstorms in the upstate this afternoon. If game 1 goes into a weather delay will that affect the start time of our game? And if so by how much? Don’t think it’ll be storming by the evening but you never know

The main issue is lightening. Every time there is lightening reported with an 8 mile radius play has to stop for 30 mins. For those that remember the first game of the softball super regionals, they started the game and then immediately had a lightening delay. Same thing for baseball

Based off the weather report I doubt the first game starts on time but looks like it should clear out. Even if they are able to start at 1pm, I don't think that should change our start time.

But again, if lightening is in the area not much they can do.

Radar shows storms coming through between about 1 and 2:30.

I’ll bet WV and KY and the game officials are meeting now to decide if they are starting at 12 or just waiting to start later.

Either way, we’ll get our game in sometime tonight.
Maybe on time. Maybe a little later.
