AP Top 25 college football poll reaction: What's next for each ranked team?
With the release of the latest AP college football poll, here's what is up next for each team in the new rankings.


Looks like all undefeated teams except for us has a one team must join the ranks of one loss teams in their remaining games. I think that the season is now past the point of a team now losing one game and being able to recover from it.

So Saturday we face 5-3 ND and Michigan meets that perennial power house 4 - 4 (1-4 Big 10) Rutgers. We both win and we still don't pass Michigan who shouldn't have jumped us in the polls anyway.

So Saturday's only battle of the undefeateds is the #1 Georgia Bulldogs vs. #3 Tennessee.

Still have hopes the CFPC puts us ahead of Michigan based on an honest evaluation of SOS/SOR.

The ‘ …you can move up over the loser of two teams ranked ahead of you’ rationale can also work for a team ranked below you (if they beat a team ranked above you as did the Vols after beating Bama).

I may actually watch the selection show ‘real time’ tomorrow to see if the CFPC continues with more objective (and superior) rankings than either the AP or coaches.

On second thought, Nah! I’ll dvr and stay off sm until I watch it so I can ff through the bloviation and commercials….
