based on the game between LSU that I watched Clemson should not be rated #8. More like 15-20. Defense was better, but not what was advertised. Offense was terrible, with the best WR’s in college football not showing up.

Rankings right now don’t mean anything. Most good teams didn’t play anyone with a pulse.
Look at PennState for one
You can start getting a good idea after five or so weeks.

Could it be that we got the benefit of the doubt because we played a really good LSU team? Many here always complain that ranked SEC teams don’t fall very far when they lose to other SEC teams…seems we may have gotten a little bit of that consideration as well.

We just don't know yet. Just like last week, the offense will live and die by CK2. Hopefully he rebounds like last year and if he does we will be in the playoffs and able to go deep into it, because the defense is definitely better.

That defense held LSU to under 400 yards even though they were exhausted and on the field for 38 mins. That defense will be the reason we win some games this year and look out when the offense catches up to the defense. Call me a sunshine pumper or whatever but I think this team will keep improving and by the time SMU and then FSU come to town this will be a championship team. Go Tigers
