Needing to gift a bottle of Mezcal and know little about good brands or options. Anyone with any experience with a suggestion to share? Thanks in advance.

Absolutely. That’s my go-to on the rocks. The Mezcal comes in a solid grey bottle and came out more recently.

When my friends graduated high school, we loaded into my buddy’s Mitsubishi Monterey Sport and drove to South Of The Border to celebrate for a few days. I had just won a couple hundred bucks on scratch offs so I splurged for three bottles of Monte Alban. If we are being honest, the stuff tasted awful but it did the trick.
Ricky’s dad owned two car washes and was rolling in cash after a particularly bad pollen season. He let Ricky book a suite at the hotel for the nine of us. We were supposed to stay for three nights but got kicked out after my girlfriend puked in the swimming pool after breakfast on day two. If you are serious about drinking Mezcal, don’t let someone that weighs only 175 drink 1/2 bottle with two breakfast burritos and a half a bag of Doritos. It will end badly.
The stuff does give you really awesome dreams. I only slept for two hours that first night but my dreams in that short period literally changed my life. My grandpa who had passed away years before came to talk to me while getting a hummer from my high school guidance counselor while the two of them pet a donkey that stood next to the recliner gramps was sitting in. They told me I was heading down the wrong path and I needed to take things more seriously. I held a job for a solid 18 months after that.

My older half brother Dylan lost his virginity there on a family vacation when I was nine. He was 13 at the time and hooked up with a girl that worked in the arcade exchanging prizes for tickets. Dylan is an elite Skee Ball player and cleaned up.
No regrets.

I think you are confused. The worm is in good tequila. That’s different than mezcal.

I’ve never once seen a worm in tequila. I have seen it in mezcal.
I’ve had my share of both.
