Yes I do. I think they develop Kier as a corner outfielder with his speed. Sam Hall is a jack of all trades and can really play anywhere we need so that’s really helpful hopefully he can get his confidence back up. I’m more worried about who’s gonna step up at 1st and as a DH and of course the bullpen. We’ve lost a lot of talent in the OF the past 2 years combined. (Seth, Reed, Poody, Whart) but thankfully Monte has done a good job of getting some talented outfielders

Oh yeah, you answer. Me too, I think he has the outfield covered. Think Kyle becomes a force at catcher.
Spiers may become the new Gilliam as our closer. He was nasty at times.
Who do we have at first??? Haven’t thought about that. Going to have to be someone new.

See, I don’t know enough about who’s coming in this year that’s ready as true freshman. Nobody ever really came in at first all year other than williams.

Ive done some research on our ‘18 and ‘19 recruiting classes and they aren’t bad but the 2 best players from this year’s class decided to go pro. But if you look at this link it’ll tell you our commitments and apparently a few of em are nationally ranked which helps.

Think you found your first baseman lumsden? 6-4 200 lbs and has played some 1b and 3b.
That fella from ac flora is good. He’s just going to need to get some bp teaching.
Really think we’ll have some good arms. Greenies back at 2nd or did he go? Can’t remember.

Thanks for this link, it really helps a bunch. I’m an old fart but I love talking baseball even if I’m not that good at it.
I remember clemson had always been a good hitting team but never had the arms when we got to the cws... even under wilhelm.
Anyway, love to talk baseball with you anytime. Just wish we’d started it sooner. Old fella got to get his sleep.

Hackenburg for first base or for catcher. Joey Bart a heck of a catcher. If so, where would that put Wilkie? Can Wilkie play first.

Really going to be an interesting offseason with the returnees and newcomers as pitchers and position players. We need someone to step up as a true Friday night starter that we have been missing the last couple of years. Think we will have much more competition for playing time than the last couple of years. We really need Owen Griffith to take a step up because he has a much higher ceiling than many of our pitchers. Other than Davidson,Wilkie and a healthy Meredith I don't see anyone else as a lock to start.

I’m thinking you’re going to see Teodosio be a lock to start. Sounds like he’s really increasing his plate appearance on the summer leagues. Hopefully that carries to the fall and spring.
Byrd a good staple for defense. Just shocked that Owen got hit like he did. But you’re right, really need that shutdown Friday starter that we’ve yet to have with Monte.

I am correct that we lost 2 recruits and 3 underclassmen to this year's draft?
