Anyone going to Ole Miss is WASTING THEIR COLLEGE CAREER.

Nov 13, 2012, 7:12 PM

It has to be about family, because no one would apply logic to playing football there. They are a doormat.

I honor these guys commitment to family, but they are making a strategic error regarding their future.

Very disappointed in this Grayson situation. They are making Clemson look like fools with all this drama. I know they would contribute to our team, but if they are all out then it's over I suppose.

We still have a great recruiting class either way and are leading with some other ELITE recruits.

GO TIGERS!

They are not making Clemson look like fools...

it is making Grayson look like a place that coaches will most likely avoid UNLESS there is a can't miss like Nkemdiche. They won't want to waste their time KNOWING the kind of garbage that goes on there. NOT OUR LOSS.

Kamara is solid as a rock!

Solid as a rock to whichever college Robert tells him to go to that is.

Yep, Ole Miss sure hurt Eli Manning's career.

Nov 13, 2012, 7:38 PM

Not saying they are a powerhouse, but the best transcend their team's ranking. Lots of fantastic NFL players came from small, or "bad" schools. If the kid wants to be at Ole Miss, then let him be. It is his life. At least we won't have to worry about him at Bama or Scar.

It hurt CJ Leak's career when he went to Wake Forest….

Nov 13, 2012, 8:02 PM

because his dad would only let him commit to a school that promised him he would be starting his freshman season. CJ Leak was a big time recruit coming out of high school and had a very disappointing college career. At Ole Miss RN will being getting double teamed every play. If RN would have came here, there would be other good DLinemen for the opposing team to account for. At Ole Miss, he will be the only defender offenses have to gameplan for

David Cutcliff @ Duke coached Eli Manning

Nov 13, 2012, 8:22 PM [ in reply to Yep, Ole Miss sure hurt Eli Manning's career. ]

none of the current coaches @ Ol' Miss had anything to do with him.

How are we made to look like fools? RN wasn't mature

Nov 13, 2012, 7:23 PM

enough to decommit himself so Dabo did it for him. Don't get me wrong we'd all love to have RN at Clemson but it will ultimately be his loss if he chooses Ol Miss.

Logic isnt always involved when it comes to family!

Nov 13, 2012, 7:23 PM

My brother went to a college I can easily see myself going there as well... As for commiting to Clemson knowing your brother is at Ole Miss is a bit odd and makes little sense now that he has decided that the Rebels may be a good fit for him!! You and I have a right to express our displeasure over losing his commitment and now most like Kamara as well. I have no ill-will towards these young guys given they arent old enough to qualify for rational decision making and I can assure you the academics of each institution was never held in high regard anyway. If so, then he wouldnt be so bold with his "3 years and out" to make millions in the NFL... It does stink to lose him but its his life, not any of ours and we have a slight bias towards Clemson where he may have no connection other than a couple visits and being in camp this summer.

Robert, David. To each of you my blessings and if you decide Clemson is the place for you, we will welcome you with open arms!

Go Tigers!!

RN's commit to us was fake from the beginning…..

Nov 13, 2012, 8:09 PM

it was all a ploy for attention. He contradicted himself constantly from when he committed to when he decommitted. Bottom line Clemson was never going to get RN. RN and his family was playing games to get attention. The quote about playing 3 years and going pro, is very telling that he is going to have no respect for whatever college he plays for. He also got a friend, Nick Schussler, who was at MSU to transfer to Clemson just so Schussler, Kamara, and RN could play together. Schussler basically has no chance of ever playing a down at Clemson. At Mississippi State, Schussler would have at least got a shot. Here at Clemson he will just be the practice squad QB. Lying to a close friend and having that lie affect his life, just shows that RN lacks character.

my god just when you think you have read it all.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I do think Clemson gives RN and Kamara

Nov 13, 2012, 7:42 PM

a greater chance to play early and a shot at championship football.

At Ole Miss they'll play early but they are not winning any sort of championship any time soon.

Their loss.

But I'd say Clemson as a 5% chance of landing these two still.
