of the same ol Dabo complaints and "will Dabo do this" or "will Dabo do that" day in and day out on here? Its like every other thread is a schizophrenic episode. I feel like i've read these thoughts before. And I have. Especially after a BYE week. It seems like we have a lack of legitimate things to complain about. I cant wait until after UNC so we can at least have some specifics to pick apart.. Ugh.
Im sure some of you will say "dont read it if you dont like it, its a Clemson football board" or something to that extent. Fact of the matter is, I have been reading this board since I was about 15 years old. I know I dont have that many posts on here but I have been around a long time. It used to be a place where you could gain some quality insights. Now its just a pity party

I have said for years that we could have taped all Dabo's pressers in 2021 and just replayed them each week and saved a lotsa time and trouble. Same could be said of TNET poasts!

People are looking for hope. After having big expectations, and seeing this collapse, people have every right to be asking questions. They feel deceived. And they should.
Wholesale changes are on the menu and that’s all you’re going to hear about until they are made.

same for ANY team board in the country.
The team & program is in bad shape right now and has been headed that way since 2021..........good thing is, in this new world of CFB team/program trajectories can flip on a dime if the right moves are made to right the ship............it's Dabo's call.

I really speciation for post. Like you, I've been around much longer than my post count would suggest and I to have noticed a change. I think there are several factors at play.
I'd hard to at one factor prevails but I'll start with history more distant. Bowden gave is a pulse again. If you don't recall the Hatfield and West years got point of reference is truly limited. But Bowden and early Dabo have us hope. There was excitement. There was a build-up that led to our glorious run. Exciting improvements to facilities, exciting coaches, exciting recruits and players and exciting wins. Then we got the mountain top. Truly, a program could not get any better than where we were. The board pays reflected this. The reflection was not monolithic, but it was generally unified.
Theses wins attracted new board members and new fans, a lot of whom were young and or with short memories. These folks may know about the lean years, but they didn't go through them. Somehow a new group of hot-heads began showing up too. I dont know how to explain these clowns who hurl insults at other board participants as though they define who should/ not be a participant based solely on whether they agree with a poster. Anyhow, they showed up whereas before we had a different set of jerks to find a way to live with.
More recently, after having enjoyed as much success as a fan base might, we find ourselves in a slump that no one really understands. While we all miss the success earlier enjoyed, some have come to form an entitlement of success. These folks have become very vocal.
For my part, these last few disappointing seasons find me remembering that college football is entertainment. It's easy to get wrapped up into the winning, but if my sense of wellbeing is firmly attached to the success of something other people do. I've got something wrong in myself.

The negativity stinks but it is earned. I don’t see the schizophrenia comparison; you choose to read these, whereas, schizophrenia is not by choice. You know they aren’t wrong. Negativity is human nature. Everyone seems to forget fan is short for fanatic. Fanatic: an unreasonable love or support of a team. If you want sanity, stick to the articles. Which are parroting what everyone on here has been saying. So, maybe just Salty’s Dad jokes?!

Yes, I'm tired of the same ole BS talking down Dabo. I've lived through all the years that our Tigers was never expected to win anything with the word championships pointed toward us, and the truth is I don't want to trade him in for anybody else...
