I can throw a string of lights on it if I get the impulse to do so, to confuse the deer and squirrels for a few days.
This is just something that women make you do.
A guy would never ever put a tree in their house without peer pressure from a woman and/or kids. I don't even think kids care that much about it, they just want presents, they don't need to be under a dead tree.

Had some travels in Jan/Feb that took me away from home. Just kept it up with lights and everything. Might do it again next year as it's been enjoyable.
