Have mostly sat in West Stands over the years. Annoying when their band is in the stadium. I am THANKFUL!

their band is usually pretty arse-holish. I remember them turning their instruments directly on the students and fans beside them and blaring the songs into peoples ears. Just a bunch of classless (b)astards.

Glad they were not there, as it takes away our 100% Clemson environment. But I read somewhere last year that less bands are traveling now to save money.

Disagree. Its fun seeing both bands go at it. That's what creates a great environment at SEC games if you watch a game like Georgia-Florida on TV. The ACC environments are just awful.

If that game truly meant something or of something was on the line .....like a high ranking.....or a match up between 2 high ranking teams.......that war drum would have been beating....and that war chant would have been going on.

We, Clemson, have made it difficult for any school to bring their full band.
Reconfigured seating a few years ago and don't allocate enough tickets for bands. They would have to sit in the upper deck, which makes in almost impossible to play at halftime.

It is odd. FSU and GT always brought their full bands and performed at the half. Georgia, Auburn and SC from the SEC also always brought the full band. The NC schools stopped bringing the full bands years ago.

and I've got news for all these money grubbers. There are a lot of "fans" that go to high school games because they have kids in band, or cheer etc. And kids that grow up in band, will often follow football because it was part of their high school experience. You start canceling those groups to save money, your going to have less "fans".

That’s sad…and bizarre. There was less money back then, yet the bands made it to every game. Now there’s exponentially more money, but they’re too cheap to send them to the games? Lame. What is happening to college football?
