Dabs has a lot of evaluation and searching of heart to do. It could be NIL pressures and other things we don't see in the unseen realm.

Dabo basically implied that he tried to hand over the reins to Cade in the Notre Dame game, but Cade threw a pick and that kept him from taking over. Definitely an odd rationalization of the end to this season.
