We've done an excellent job of addressing some needs with current portal pick ups. Is there any other position of need? Maybe DT?

If Capehart is eligible to return I think we are okay at DT. The only place that needs addressing is some depth at RB. Not necessarily a starter as I believe we have our future starter. But someone who take some of the load off of our future starting RB.

Danny Ford never went into a game without a great field goal kicker and a great punter. Recently rewatched the 1981 Natty victory and Dale Hatcher kept Nebraska backed up with his 50 + yard punts. For some reason we always have the worst punter in the conference. So I say punter and a tall speedy safety

Weird. In 1986 Ford hosted open tryouts for Punter during Fall camp, eventually settling on our shortstop Bill Spiers for the role just before our first game.

We need additional LB depth.
It's clearly stated Alexander is more of a project than an dependable LB we need for depth. He can get there but needs work.
While Dabo is hot , I'd take any additional
DT , CB , and even WRs we could land.
We need additional Wesco's and Moore's if you really want to see Riley's offense explode onto the scene as expected.

I say grab a starting caliber safety. Move Barnes back to nickle. He played much better at nickle. Then hope Jones has a good offseason. I think he will be a good safety for us. And the defense will be light years ahead of the one from this season.

S, not sure Griffin is starter quality and Ricardo Jones will only a sophomore.
LB, this hinges on the development of Jamal Anderson.
DT, this depends on the status of Capehart.
