I agree about Helms getting a chance. Cade could be great, and I hope he ends up being great, but he would have sat as an attention grabber after last weekend’s debacle and his inability to sense pressure in the pocket. The o line isn’t helping, but he has to have a better sense of pressure and not have so many turnovers.

He will make better decisions and throw the ball away, every play from Cade looks like his one series vs ND. He is who he is and wh have 10 games to prove it now…. Ok maybe 9, hard to keep up.

I’d like to see him at least try but we were saying the same thing about Cade replacing DJ last year. It’s obvious the problem lies elsewhere. I think most of us know where.

I don’t disagree, but behind this o line and with the current state of playcalling and “the system” i’m not sure it will matter. Let’s start every qb on the roster at this point, basically nothing to lose
