Sounds like we have found a few dollars.
Also I’m guessing folks might want to think about the money needed to keep what we do have. We are not trying to fund a small basketball team. No comparison.

Did you really just ask that question??? How many times have you said Clemson invests more money in facilities and coaching salaries for football than for basketball?? Is that not a comparison? Wow.

Football should have more money spent on it. It's a bigger sport with more players, and generates more revenue for the school.
The only point I've made is that we should do everything we can to support basketball and give it every advantage. Football is an example of that, because our football program really took off when the AD committed more money to the program (coaching salary budget, facilities, etc.).
Our basketball program hasn't historically had that same investment relative to the ACC or to peer programs, and our lack of high-level or consistent success is proof. I'm glad Neff understands this and has increased the coaching staff budget for assistants and also committed to facility improvements. Is it any coincidence that our success on the court and our recruiting have both improved recently?

I can’t help with agree with JK here.
Despite how you feel about him, any criticism he’s every made has been at the lack of support for the basketball program. Which is warranted.
As far as comparing the two, if he compares the two, he does it to show the direct correlation of renewed focus and funding into the program has directly correlated to a rise in success. Which he says can be replicated with the basketball program. Which it can and which I’m all for.

He compares the two every time he makes that excuse for why the basketball team hasn’t seen the success the football program has. Then he takes envious cheap shots at Dabo and his program to somehow try to further his agenda.

with vision, passion, and the ability to communicate these notions to the masses, was hired.
Not to mention being a great coach, recruiter, and leading by example charisma.
All the things missing for 13 years in another sport lead by a doorknob.

As mentioned here many times, the actual numbers show that Clemson football players have access to a significant amount of NIL.
If you want to argue with what the numbers show, go for it, but I'm tired of continuing to discuss it with people who continue to erroneously believe that we are poor and can't compete when it comes to NIL.

Just to be clear, I wasn't saying AW was considering leaving. I was saying that rumor came out and that may be what the other site was referring to. I understand it was debunked pretty quickly.
