Just watched College Football Final....I don't think I have

EVER seen them make such a prolonged argument about a call on the field. And, to hear them say the hit on Cade was a "Terrible Call" is ridiculous;and to then compare it to our tackle of the Cuse quarterback shortly thereafter is ludicrous. Cade was out of bounds when the defender hit him from the side. Trotter had made contact with the Cuse QB three or four yards in bounds, running the same direction as the cuse Qb towards the sideline. When the CUSE Qb got to the sideline, he tripped up. It was not even close. Was Trotter supposed to pull up three yards from the sideline and just HOPE the CUSE Qb was going to continue out of bounds in a6 point game? No!

There was no hit out of bounds, not even a push.
I didn't watch ESPiN after the game. BTW, I don't watch that spin machine before a game either.

Same here 1988. I stopped watching everything E$ecPN about three/four years ago except college football games. They suck.

You can clearly see the QB legs get caught u and trips. There’s a big difference in a player lowering his shoulder to hit a player out of bounds and someone tripping.

Me too. I don’t know why watch it. I hate Matt Barre. What a tool. And after Galloway comment about a horrible call on the hit on Cade I said FU Galloway out loud.

Cade NOT out of bounds when he was hit? Yes, yes he was. We threw and interception on a drive that most likely would have at least gotten us three points. We have a fumble six, that would most likely have given us 6 points. And, we had another fumble that stopped a drive where we most likely would have scored three points, AND THERE WERE ONLY 8 MINUTES LEFT IN THE 3RD, WITH CUSE UP TWO TOUCHDOWNS....AND YET, WE STILL SCORED 17 POINTS INT THE LAST 22 MINUTES TO WIN THE GAME.

Interesting how they single out 2 calls when there was a game full of bad calls and no calls. The one in the first half where the Chase db face guarded our WR by grabbing his face mask might have been the worst no call.
The refs called NOTHING on Cuse in the first half. Dino actually said they had very few penalty in the first half. Made Syracuse feel like that could hold and interfere all they wanted and it wouldn’t be called. Then the refs start calling it both ways in the second half and blew Cuse’s mind and game plan.

to keep him from falling down..second if it was a late hit and no call...i dont see anything wrong with the no call because the whole first half they ignored holding on our defenders..so they owed us at least one
