Clemson coaches spoke with him last night and say that they feel good about him.
Also,
Uga coaches maintain that they are confident that they will get him.
This one really could go down to the last minute. It’s expected that he’ll notify both coaching staffs and inform them of his decision right before making his public commitment announcement.

It's a toss up and I hope the fella is really sold on his pick. If not, may be another portal in two years. He could shock everyone and go to Colorado, tcu, or even Michigan schools and don't rule out Oregon. He'd been there b4 unofficial.
Was reading that article on tci where they talked to his former coach and his rb trainer. They were telling tci that this has kinda blown Paul's mind of sorts. Said most kids with big offers have several months, if not years to make a decision. Jmho, I think being so new to him, everywhere he goes is new and exciting.

Best of luck to him, whatever his choice is. The fact that we offered him means he is perceived to have character and talent…so I hope we get him. If I were forced to put money on it I’d put $100 on Georgia.

We all recall the Gurley/Marshall debacle. However, UGA offered Kobe Pace late in the process and we see how that turned out. We shall see...

I truly believe this will be a hard choice for Andrew Paul. He's from Texas & is not familiar with either Clemson or Georgia. He's also new to the big time recruiting circus. He's suddenly being noticed by several big time programs.
Based on various interviews with his coaches and others close to him, he seems drawn to Clemson's culture (Christian values, family, academics, whole person development, player development, etc.) Hopefully, he is mature enough to see that Clemson is the best place for him, and will be able to overlook the last minute interest & new flashiness of the new college football champions!

My thoughts exactly. Will it break us, no way. But would be a nice feather in cj's hat. Can only imagine he got the whole gamut from ga that we don't run the ball, we're cycling out, sec comp etc etc.
