Sharaa said anybody in the Arab or Islamic world who said they were not happy would be lying, "because people felt the injustice of the Americans in their support of the Zionists, their policies towards Muslims in general, and their clear and strong support of the tyrants in the region".

Ahmed al-Sharaa is Netanyahu’s guy in Syria. Bashar al Assad was not. Say what you want about Bashar al Assad, he was a benign dictator with respect to Christians (and of course the Alawites, of which he is one)
Trump admin is making a terrible mistake by kissing up to Netanyahu. IMO this is Trump’s biggest flaw.
