Think it was a pre-season scrimmage game in Hawaii or something.
Trojans played well since they didn't have to travel as far.

The emergence of Ngata (and hopefully Ladson) during the season will change minds about which team has the best receiving corp. Understandably, the national media isn't ready (yet) to give Clemson's true freshmen any credit.

As I say all the time, it doesn't matter what they say or think about us or our player bc they just have fun, the fun is in the winning, and the sports media don't know nothing about that bc they haven't ever done it the right way!!! They just twist stories to make them sound or read the way they direct them!!!

I must say, Ngata must be very special to get such high praise from Dabo and he hasn't even played a game yet.

I just watched Dabo's post-practice video. Almost the entire last 5 mins are about Ngata. The written article doesn't really get across the magnitude of his comments. Truly mind-blowing. It's seems risky to say such things about a true freshman before the season starts but clearly Ngata has earned Dabo's respect in a way no other freshman ever has (prior to game 1).
Can't wait to see him perform. Already wanted Daniyel but he's now a "must get" if his work ethic is anything like his older brother's.

Yeah i watched the video as well and i dont recall dabo ever reacting that way to a certain player. His face looked like a kid finding out he got his favorite toy on christmas morning when he answered the question about which freshman would avoid a rs this season. And then to say he's never had a player work as hard as him including a senior is crazy to think about. Cant wait to see this guy on the field.

Very exciting to hear this come out of coaches mouth! Especially when you consider all the greats that have come before this young man! The bar just keeps getting set higher and higher, how prophetic those words, "the best is yet to come" truly were! It's very exciting, even 6000 miles away! Go Tigers!
