Couldn't watch last night, so just finished watching our match with queens. Stunned. We lost 1-0 ... that's two teams in a week that obtained their first d1 win over a ranked team. We can't net a goal for nothing. The stats are unbelievable. We've gone from #2 to #14 and I suspect next week, we'll drop out the polls.

Fall sports started off with so much promise. At least volleyball is doing good. Men's tennis starting good. Ladies golf started good.

Men's football
Men's soccer
Men's golf
Womens soccer
Womens tennis
None are performing to their pre-season hype. Disappointing

Very true. Everyone is at minimum getting a full ride scholarship and stipends.

Thanks. Guess the other poster doesn't realize it's the most popular sport in the world. USA hosting the world cup. It's exploding now and has been as a youth sport.

Not having Stephenson and Magnusson together on the backline is hurting us. We are having to play a midfielder as a defender. The entire formation breaks down from there.

Yoshisawa needs to be more dangerous again, he has had very little impact the last 3 games. Gyan is working and trying hard but he can't do it all on his own.

The connectivity from back line to midfield has broken down and it reduces our ability to attack the goal

Thanks T_I_P. Now I remember y'all discussing the two being out. I guess the teo good thing is they weren't conference games and it's still early. Would be nice to see more discussion on the inner workings of soccer and the injuries as you've provided. Much appreciated.
