Well, you are certainly correct. It may well be that I am wrong...I truly hope so. Geez, I sometimes wish I could go back, but not all the way to the contentious and juvenile state where your mind must reside. I am assuming that by screaming "No, it's you", you were stomping your feet, as well. All-in-all, I am now, and always have been in a good place...hope the same can happen for you!

Surely you don't think that Dabo should have named names that would be fired at season end, do you?

Thanks for the question. No, I absolutely would not expect that. However, I was referring to the entire texture of his comments. You are right. I should have been more circumspect. Did you not see some of the same old "sunshine" in his remarks that just don't fit the present state of the program. Granted, he has to present a positive and hopeful perception. In my opinion, sometimes it is okay to admit that change, in whatever form necessary is a real and valid answer.
I was once told that you can't stay in one place too long...they will find you and kill you. That is maybe a severe take in this case, but that thinking will tend to make you move! I simply want to see our tigers become the hunters again.
Have a good day and GO TIGERS!!!

Honestly you're just looking for something to complain about with this statements. He's not going to get up there and say that he's going to such and such coaches at the end of the season. He's not going to come out and say this or that player sucks. He's not going to come out and diagram a new game plan on the board for everybody to see.

I really am not looking for things to complain about, and I am sorry you derive that from my remarks. My hope is that Tigernet offers a place where we, as Clemson supporters, can exchange feelings and ideas, and yes, vent a little, too!
As a point of reference, The first game I saw Clemson play was against The Citadel in Charleston in the winter of 1948. I was seven years old, and my older brothers "allowed" me to go with them. If you have older siblings, imagine that! I was in a state of awe, and it would be years later before I would truly realize how lucky I was to see Bobby Gage actually play! And it would also be some years before I could actually see them play again. However, we always gathered around the radio in those years to listen to our beloved Tigers play...sorry for the digression, but please know that it would never be my intention to be the first on a thread to offend anyone. We all deserve respect.
I certainly agree with your statements, but here is my thinking. It seems that Dabo is a little too defensive at times, and sometimes his remarks reflect that. I hope you would agree that his remark about fans not appreciating the winning and he would just go and coach somewhere else was just not a "good look". In my opinion, there has been a little too much of this kind of stuff from him lately. I feel like he sometimes is almost combative with us as his supporters. He doesn't even take questions anymore, if what I am seeing is correct. Wouldn't it be nice if he just acknowledged that a lot has been invested in him to take Clemson football into the future and that he is going to make what ever decisions...some of which may be different than decisions than he currently lives by...ask us, his ardent supporters...to trust him to do this. This is not divulging any specifics. This is acknowledging that he depends on us as much as we depend on him. If we think of this as an extended family, think back and see if you can remember your father, mother, wife, husband, sibling or any other family admit that they are responsible to correct something...no buts, or if so-and-so hadn't done something, etc, etc.. just own it! I have and sometimes it has brought me to tears. However, everyone became a little stronger
So, here we are. Dabo just stop going back to past glory, and past mistakes. Simply ASK US to believe in you and tell us that you have "got This". We don't want to hear about last year or even last week. Just do what you know has to be done. We'll al be a little stronger as a result.
