That we lose that game if Morris was still here? I think that Cole would of been his old self instead of his new self. I have no idea what Streeter did but obviously a fresh face and fresh ideas cleared his head. Again credit goes to Dabo for making great choices.

Having a dedicated QB coach was huge for Coal. I truly believe Coal had a lot more to give. I question Morris's ability to develop a QB at this level. Our current Offensive coaching set up will be huge for the seasons to come. Dabo is the man, we have great leaders at the helm.

Streeter gave Stoudt what he needed in confidence. He didn't have to think about the whole offense, but just Stoudt's playing. The OC's drew up a plan that was suited to his play and the whole team came together with him to win. No DW on the sidelines to come in and play so no looking over his shoulder about being pulled. He could go out play and have fun, no pressure.
Plan with what you got and play to win. The coaches did it and Stoudt delivered!

"No DW on the sidelines to come in and play so no looking over his shoulder about being pulled. He could go out play and have fun, no pressure."
So what explains the 3 games where there was no chance of DW coming in during the course of the regular season when DW was out injured? My opinion is that Morris was not as good as an OC as we all thought... or he had massive distractions [aka, eyes on the HC prize]. You could see the issues with coaching the QB's in the way TB played over the last couple of years. I think if we had a devoted QB's coach we would have beaten SC at least the last 2 years, and possibly be talking about being in the 4 this year. TB's natural ability and the playmakers we had on the team is what made Morris look great in my opinion. Morris, may have a great playbook, but developing an entire college offense may bit a bit much for his skillset, again, JMO...

No way to ever know but the new OC qb coach situation worked well last night.

I think Cole was injured and the play calling was not suited for his ability so I agree.

I think SMU was talking with Chad for a good part of the season and he was not 100 percent focused on Clemson.

Did you SEE the defense last night?

I don't think it would have been possible to lose that game. The defense almost singlehandedly willed us to a win. The offense scored, but they didn't have to do anything crazy because of the play of the defense. Zero need for risky plays when everything was going so well on D.
