The season is not over, the three losses probably cripple, or kill, any playoff talk. I believe at most we lose one more game, probably Louisville, BC would be my second choice, but an 8-4 season after the brutal stat is not the death of the Tigers program. Clearly, changes need to be made, the use of the portal or non use of the portal, should not even be a question. I expect Dabo to enhance his effort in using the portal, Heldt, would be a great example, one of the few guys on defense that has stood out. Dabo needs to understand that the portal is here to stay, when you have a bottom third team like Duke spending $4 million on a qb, this is the new norm. I would like to see some changes on the staff, especially at Off Cord. Riley has had his chance, his play calling is poor, and the offensive line has regressed. Personally, I expect Clemson to rebound strong by 2027, playing in the ACC gives Dabo plenty of cover to experiment, because the league is pretty weak. I would really like fans to pause on Clemson to the SEC (although it will eventually happen), as well as the Big 10, but the BIG is not going to take Clemson because of the AAU certification. Let's work in the sandbox (ACC), get our #### right, and then conquer the SEC

I don't see us doing good against FSU or Shamecocks. Dual threat QB's are a nightmare for this defense right now. Wish I had your optimism but I just don't see it.

I’ll take an 8-4 season right now. I have become scared to watch. I think I will go to sleep and wake up to get the news. Seems easier that way than dying a slow death watching.

An 8-4 season would be a complete transformation from where they are right now. Not out of the question but highly unlikely. The most realistically optimistic hope is 7-5 at best I think. The issues with the team will require more than a single bye week to remedy.

Our best player is someone that came in a few months ago. Why? Because we do not make players better; in fact, we make them worse.
Does anyone think that Parker and Woods would be nonexistent on a UGA or Alabama team?
