No more 120-seconds to get down the hill prancing 2x2. Run ######.
No more Dabo standing in front and pacing by himself. Get the players involved
Bring back the balloons.
Add 2x the fireworks. Build up some hype and energy.

Let the players touch the rock early, walk past the rock a bit to let more players in to touch, then run like #### down the hill like you're ready to hit somebody.

This week's hill run versus Syracuse was the epitome of our program. I've seen 3rd grade plays with more excitement than this.

It has become more of a spectacle than a tradition. Unfortunately.
Once upon a time in ancient days (when i was a student and prior) you had to be there an hour before game time to see the team enter the Valley. They walked down from their Fike Field House dressing room. Before the busses and the hype. Lock up Coach Howard's rock until these guys appreciate the significance. IMHO

I thought they were building the locker rooms on the hill side to eliminate the bus ride & yes I agree the tiger roar with balloons and fireworks was much better.
