I don't know how anyone could expect more from their 3 starters. Jake's ERA is 1.99 and he has enough innings now that his body of work should speak for itself. He's been excellent and he has recovered so nicely from his injury that they'll probably allow him to throw 100 pitches this week.

Both in pitching and in hitting we've broken a barrier here recently. Hopefully we carry the Wofford and FSU momentum into the ACC tournament. If we do and get an NCAA spot that means we have a better chance of keeping that mentality.

Even if you are talking about Furman, we had 6 errors in that game...and that will get you beat every time against better teams. We scored 23 runs against Furman, but you have to remember we were hitting against the majority of their pitchers who had terrible era's

Agree. This has not been the season we wanted, but to sweep FSU was nothing short of remarkable. Just why we all love sports...you can never be totally sure of the outcome of a sporting event. The best reality entertainment there is out there.

Only gave up 1 run until the 7th. Actually, all of our starters did pretty well against them.
